Eisenbud Lecture Series in Mathematics and Physics  

The Eisenbud Lecture Series is funded by a generous bequest to Brandeis University from Leonard and Ruth-Jean Eisenbud. The lecture series will be given annually at Brandeis by a distinguished mathematician or physicist. The third series will take place on April 21-23, 2009, and will feature
Leo P. Kadanoff of the University of Chicago.

The lectures will all occur in Abelson room 131 from 4-5PM. There will be a reception after the first lecture.

Lecture I, April 21. (For a general audience).

Lecture II, April 22. (For a physical science audience, first year graduate level).
